Historicial Development: | The Directory of Texas Manufacturers 1956-1958 noted that the Glover & Martindale began as a partnership in 1949 in order to manufacture oil-field lumber. The firm grew to become the L. H. Martindale Lumber Company with hardwood mills at Dam B, Jasper, and Jacksonville. Its mill at Jasper in 1968, according to a TFPMA memo, did not belong to the Texas Forest Products Manufacturers Association. |
