Historicial Development: | R. S. Willis' planing mill at Crockett appeared in the January 1905 and 1907 Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association. Robert Willis is listed in the Census of 1910 for Houston County as a planing mill foreman, with his residence located in District 62. A map published in 1907 located the planing mill and lumber yard on Railroad south of King and east of the International & Great Northern tracks. |
