Historicial Development: C. B. Beningham & G. A. Tompkins operated a sawmill at Riverside about 1905. Beningham and Tompkins sold some lumber to W. A. Fink in December, 1905. Tompkins later sold the mill to W.A. Fink. It did appear in a 1906 railroad listing of sawmills and in the January 1907 published records of the Lumbermen's Credit Association. The sawmill town and plant was enumerated in the 1910 Census at Precinct 6 of the Dodge District and was situated next to the Gebhart mill.
