Historicial Development: Jones, Cline & Co. were running a sawmill at Huntsville in 1899. The sawmill was located on the International & Great Northern tracks. Trinity River Lumber Company contracted in February, 1899, with J. B. Jones and B. D. Cline to cut at the sawmill. Thomas L. Foster served as manager with B. D. Cline as his second. The mill eventually became part of the property of Clark & Cline, and it was sold to Bell & Bell in 1907 for $6,500, with W. S. Gibbs acting as Trustee for B. D. Cline. Sold were a tract of stumpage on the S. Lindley labor located about twelve miles south of Huntsville as well as the sawmill and equipment located at Lot 302, Block 35 in Huntsville.
