Historicial Development: The J. R. Morrow sawmill was producing 12,000 feet daily in 1906. Morrow bought the Eastham plant in March,1905. Equipment included a steam boiler and engine, a carriage, saws, planers, four log wagons, and oxen, for $6,500. Eastham also agreed to sell stumpage at fifty cents per one thousand feet of lumber and for stacked and dressed lumber.
