Historicial Development: | Research by W. T. Block has located the R. P. Brooks and I. Y. Chinski sawmill on three hundred acres of the Brighton headright in 1879 in Walker County. Brooks gave Chinski an undivided one-half interest in the sawmill, cotton press, and a carry log. |
