Historicial Development: | The J. Watts sawmill, according to the Texas Big Sandy Project map, was located in Wood County in 1854 several miles south of Liberty Hill and just east of the Belzoria Road. Any records prior to 1879 were destroyed by fire at the county courthouse. The census of 1860 and 1870 for Wood County, Texas, needs to be checked. |
