Historicial Development: | Todd Brothers were reported by a Galveston newspaper to be cutting 20,000 feet daily at Gladewater in 1893.
Gregg County records note in 1888 that W. S. and S. R. Todd, for $2,000, bought the sawmill of R. M. Bradshaw, located at O'Byrne's Switch on the Texas & Pacific. Property transferred included the sawmill, the steam machinery, twenty-six oxen, three log wagons, five mules, four road wagons.
J. E. Robinson sold lumber to L. J. Everett that he had received from the "Todd Bros" sawmill.
