Historicial Development: | P. K. Williams had a sawmill at Rosewood, beginning about 1907. He served in the American armed forces during World War I, returning from France as a captain. He continued sawmilling until he was burned out. He next opened a mill near Rhonesboro and a later mill at Gilmer in 1928. |
