Historicial Development: | The firm of Fred Eastwood appeared in the January 1905 Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association and the 1907 listing. He may have bought out R. J. Freeman at La Fayette.
In 1907, Eastwood mortgaged with W. C. Barnwell, for $6,000, his sawmill property. This included 578 acres, three boilers, two engines, two saws, two edgers, a resaw, a Hoyt planer, a log car, four log wagons, three road wagons, etc. The location of the sawmill was not identified. |
