Historicial Development: | Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1905 listed this mill, and again in 1907.
Pine Mills, earlier known as Liberty Hill, is located in eastern Wood County on Big Sandy Creek. In the 1870s, R. B. Kreitman operated a sawmill at Pine Mills. By 1885, the community had two sawmills, several stores, two gins, and a post office. |
