Historicial Development: | A secondary source reports that a man named Fletcher organized the Village Lumber Company south of Silsbee and built a mill in 1913. In 1917, the company reorganized as the Nona-Fletcher Lumber Company. The mill was dismantled in 1925 and moved to Kountze.
