Historicial Development: | A lumber mill known as the “old Norris sawmill west of Center” existed at the turn of the century. In 1907, J. R. Graves was running a logging operation from the old sawmill and possibly even operating it. He mortgaged fifteen head of oxen and three log wagons that year, which were located at the sawmill site. |
