Moss in 1903 mortgaged for a 9-inch by 12-inch Atlas steam engine, a 36-inch by 10-foot boiler, a Van Winkle sawmill with a 48-inch saw, a planer-matcher, a 60-saw Winship cotton gin, a sawmill building, and a gin house. Sidney S. Moss mortgaged in 1910 with Geo Dilley for $1025 an Ames 12-inch by 15-inch Ames Vim steam engine, an Ames 54-inch by 16-foot boiler, and a Curtis 12-saw trimmer twenty-four feet long.
