Apparently, this was a logging outfit, for in 1921 Payne sold four 8-wheel log wagons and sixteen horses and mules. In 1934, it was listed in the The Lumbermen's Credit Rating Book, October 1934 with Mrs. J. O. Payne as proprietor. |
