| Historicial Development: | According to San Augustine county records, J. N. Fonville mortgaged in November 1906 with the Henderson Iron Works for a Henderson #3 sawmill and a Henderson 3-saw gang edger. The taxes were enumerated in the name of Mrs. J. N. Fonville from 1907 to 1909. Presumably the sawmill was located on her land.
