Historicial Development:	Hugh Foley was a San Augustine County lumber manufacturer. He may have been the owner of the Foley Planing Mills Company prior to it becoming the J. M. Prince Lumber Company in 1909. He is known to have owned at least two other sawmills in the county in 1917. It appears that he began a new firm with the mortgage on 3 April 1911 to Center Cotton Oil for $750 a 4-side, 13-inch Hall & Brown moulding machine [planer-moulder]. According to San Augustine County bill of sale records, Hugh Foley sold a car of 12,000-feet plus lumber on February 3, 1914, to Bell-Hart Lumber Company, and on the 30th of January earlier sold 15,000-feet plus of lumber to Bell-Hart Lumber Company.
