Historicial Development: | The Vaught Lumber Company was based in Mount Enterprise during the 1960s and 1970s. Logging was done five tractors and five trucks. Southern Lumberman advertised the sawmill for sale in 1963 “as a complete milling facility” with Yates A-20 electric planer and lots of timber and later advertised that the company was a twin 6 GM diesel engine, a hydraulic feed, and an edger. |
