Historicial Development: | The Jacksonville Journal in 1947 reported that Robert E. Bragg had operated a sawmill at Old Center in Panola County from 1944 to February, 1946, at which time he moved to Woods (Post Office). He later moved his firm to Tenaha, in Shelby County.
In November, 1947, Bragg employed twelve to fifteen men and used three trucks. He was also a farmer and rancher. |
