Historicial Development: | This company had a sawmill at or near Beckville in Panola County after 1900. It also had its major mill at Timpson (1904-1907) and another at Nacogdoches (1907). It was not listed as having a mill in Beckville in the 1907 edition. According to the Lumbermen's Credit Association, Craven Lumber Company of Dallas operated a planing mill at Beckville in January 1905. Panola County records document that it had a note on the Parrish sawmill, which was sold to J. B. Burns in July 1906. |
