Historicial Development: According to Panola County records, the Bogue Lumber Company operated a sawmill near Rock Hill. Records from September 28, 1940, and September, 1941, document the transfer of the sawmill property from the Bogues to G. W. Richey. Equipment in 141 included a Cunningham A#1 Sawmill, a #22 Mississippi Planer in a 16'x20' planer building, a 32" edger, the Diesel engine, eight mules, etc., to G. W. Richey.
