Historicial Development: | This sawmill was listed in the 1957 edition of Directory of Wood-Using and Related Industries in East Texas and again, in 1968, on the list of the Texas Forest Products Manufacturer's Association Records. Hunt was involved in several manufacturing operations in the area. The Directory of Texas Manufacturers 1956-1958 recorded that the company had been incorporated since 1906, which is misguiding about this plant operation. The Nacogdoches operation manufactured mine props. |
