Historicial Development: | Bobo Brothers moved their sawmill from Douglass to Nacogdoches, a distance of about fifteen miles, after the J. E. Stone Lumber Company closed its plant in the late 1950s. Working with less than fifty employees, Bobo Bros produced, according to Samson's directory of 1966, rough and dressed lumber, crossties, and other manufacturing. The plant closed during the early 1970s. |
