Historicial Development: | The Southern Industrial and Lumber Review reported on September 6, 1906, that the W. A. Wright Mill was cutting 30,000 feet daily at Sterne. The earliest reference to Wright's Mill at Sterne was a newspaper report from Nacogdoches noting that Bob Sheddan had nearly lost his hand in accident at the mill in 1902. The Wright mill disappears after that date from newspaper and trade journal comment. |
