Historicial Development: | William Ferguson was a small mill owner living near Montgomery after the turn of the century. The Census of 1910 reports that he was living at Residence 565, Precinct 10. The Santa Fe System Circular No. 2090, of 1904, notes that his mill had not output at that time. He did, however, acquire the old Jessie Talley sawmill at Ventura, several miles away, and sold it to T. C. Curling for $120 in 1912. |
