Historicial Development: | T. T. Turner operated a small sawmill near Magnolia, close to Amsler's Switch. Southern Industrial and Lumber Review reported in 1906 that the mill was cutting 5,000 feet daily. In 1908, the T. T. Turner Lumber Company sold the T. T. Turner sawmill one 6-horsepower upright boiler, a pump, and 1,200 yards of pipe for $300. |
