Historicial Development: | After losing his major operation at Arnold's Switch to John L. and Clara Arnold (Watkins) in 1896, Owen Arnold apparently operated a small operation, otherwise known as a “peckerwood” operation, until at least 1910. In the Census returns of 1900 and 1910, Owen Arnold is listed as sawmill owner. His residence in 1910 is listed at Res 19, Precinct 1. |
