Historicial Development: On January 1, 1903, Texas Lumber Tie & Timber Company sold its sawmill (but not its planing mill) to Texas Tie & Timber Company. On January 1, 1903, Foster Lumber Company bought the Texas Tie & Lumber Company's mill at Clinesburg to more fully accommodate their planing mill already in operation nearby. The Everest operation of Texas Tie & Lumber Company was sold to Foster Lumber Company as part of a series of sales conducted by the Sheriff (see Foster entry at Fostoria).
