Historicial Development: | F. L. Mundy operated at least three different lumber producing mills in Marion County. The first was a sawmill plant known as the Cypress Lumber Company, which was located on his homestead. The company was known as Cypress Lumber Company. He sold it to Orr Perkins & Co (B. F. Orr, M. Perkins, and E. A. Stewart of Dallas), who also bought Mundy's stock in Cypress Lumber and leased his mill and machinery for fifteen years. |
