Historicial Development: J. S. Brasher and R. W. Wynn, Jr., had a sawmill outlet at Camp Switch, located three miles south of Gladewater, on the Texas & Pacific. They sold a bill of lumber there in 1894 to W. R. Bass and A. B. Rucker. J. N. Campbell replaced Wynn in the firm before 1896. In 1896, the firm of Brasher & Campbell sold some lumber to J. N. Campbell in order to clear indebtedness of the firm to Campbell. The mill was still listed in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1907.
