Historicial Development: | Mays Brothers gave a mortgage in 1907 to the Jacksonville State Bank on all of its “lumber at Ironton, and at station and at mill and all to be cut, also all logs at mill and in the woods.” By August, 1907, the Mays Brothers mortgaged “2/3 interest in Mays Bros sawmill at Ironton, including 2, engines, 1 boiler, 1 #2 sawmill, 1 planer, 1 edger, lmbr dollys, 1 blacksmith shop, 3 wagons, 4 mules & horses, 30,000 feet pine lumber.” |
