Historicial Development: | M. R. Slider was apparently beginning a sawmill business in February of 1907. On February 8, 1907, he executed two mortgages. The first was to Dilley & Son for $800, pledging a Dixie E sawmill, carriage, a saw, a dolly, a steam engine, and and a boiler. The second mortgage was to W. I. Brittain for $750 a boiler, a steam engine, and all fixtures. |
