Kennedy mortgaged in 1909 to the First National Bank for $300, pledging 25,000 feet of lumber, a log wagon, and eight oxen. By 1910, Kennedy was partnered with W. L. Thomas: they, on September 15, 1910, mortgaged to G. S. Huston for $250 a steam engine. In December of 1910, W. L. Thomas on December 12, 1910, mortgaged to J. L. Bailey for $96 “all lumber in attached mortgage.” |
