Historicial Development: | Picket T. Butler and Louis Brother ran a sawmill at Rusk at the turn of the century. In 1898, Louis Butler bought a steam engine and boiler for $500 from McDonald & Butler. At first a sawmill only, this operation later became a crate factory, which Picket Butler ran. Picket Butler also operated a sawmill at Craft in 1907. |
