Historicial Development: | The decade of the 1960s witnessed at Temple Industries the addition of a plywood plant, a particle-board plant, a fiberboard plant, and the building of an ultra-modern sawmill facility. In 1969, the company announced it would construct a trailer plant at the Diboll complex. The Gulf Coast Lumberman & Building Materials Distributor reported that the trailer plant would open in June 1970.
In 1990, it had nine operations, including five in Texas. Diboll still had a sawmill, working with panels and woodlands. |
