Historicial Development: | C. J. Robertson, Sr., a partner in Robertson-McDonald, announced in 1928, that the company was installing “a modern millwork plant” at the company yard at Goose Creek. Offices were in Houston. C. J. Robertson was working for the Kurth's Conroe Lumber Corporation sawmill venture at Conroe in 1937.
C. J. Robertson and Roy McDonald had operated sawmill plants at Turtle Bayou, Devers, and Humble for more than thirty years by 1947. |
