Historicial Development: R. B. Kuteman was reported, in 1893, to be cutting 20,000 feet daily at Mineola. He had a second mill, located about three and a miles north of Mineola on Lake Fork Creek of the Sabine River. It was cutting 10,000 feet daily in 1893. Nine years earlier Kuteman had sold the mill to a firm known as Bess and White but apparently took it back sometime later.
