Historicial Development: This plant was listed as Hall & Hall in 1905 in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1905 and was producing 50,000 feet of lumber daily in 1906. By 1907, Hall & Hall was referred to as the Aetna Lumber Company in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1907. In December, 1908, W. P. Hall sold his one-half interest in the one-quarter interest “of all cash on hand, sawmill property and all land owned by W. L. Hall, D. F. Hall and Aetna Lumber Co. Sed land lying Walker, San Jac. and Trinity counties.” Main offices were located at Riverside.
