Historicial Development: San Jacinto County records reveal that S. G. Strobe mortgaged a half interest in a sawmill to B. B. Hardy in 1918. The sawmill was located at Milledge Station adjacent to the tracks of the Houston East & West Texas. The lien was cancelled the following year.
