Historicial Development: A. G. McMayon mortgaged to First State Bank in Trinity his portable sawmill located a mile and a half from Oakhurst, in 1946. That same year he mortgaged three horses, seven mules, four oxen, and a truck and trailer to the Bank. He mortgaged out a truck and trailer to Ray Niederhofer on November 10, 1946, apparently helping Niederhofer to get a start in the logging business. McMayon was mortgaging with Trinity State Bank at Trinity, in January, 1947, for another truck and trailer.
