Historicial Development: The hardwood mill of Jones and O'Shaughnessy appeared in the October 1934 rating book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association. This may have been the former hardwood mill of Pickering Lumber Company at Haslam. Roy Jones sold the comb hardwood and pine mill to John W. O'Shaughnessy of Beaumont, on July 29, 1935.
