Ownes for a manufacturing plant, with “all turning lathes & saws, gasoline engine, [and] all cutting machinery of Center Manufacturing Company.” In September of 1908, for $540, they mortgaged to I. F. Miller for a shingle machine and all the pine lumber on H. M. Beauchamp's land, about one mile southwest of Center.
