Historicial Development: On 3 April 1909 Walter and Molly Richey mortgaged $325 with G. B. Snelberg for a 12-horsepower gasoline engine, a complete sawmill, and all of the lumber already sawn or to be sawn. On 13 September 1909, J. W. Baggett mortgaged for Walter Richey's sawmill, including a 15-horsepower Harvester gasoline engine, the sawmill with its carriage, and two lumber buggies.
