Historicial Development: G. A. Davison and Woolsey Williamson bought a sawmill complex on May 21, 1904, from J. C. and O. L. Collins. The facility, located at Gary, in southeastern Panola County near the Sabine River, included a steam engine, a boiler, the sawmill, two saws, a carriage and track, five dollies, a cold-water pump, etc. The price was $2,500.
