Historicial Development: C. S. Ivey operated a circular sawmill in Carthage. In 1923, contracted his sawmill cut to the Carthage Supply Co, which gave him a partial payment of $1,000. The company appeared in the 1928 edition of Southern Lumberman's Directory of American Saw Mills and Planing Mills at Carthage. It did not appear in the The Lumbermen's Credit Rating Book, October 1934.
