Historicial Development: Mrs. Lucy V. Leslie bought the former sawmill of Madley and Mainer on January 30, 1896, and sold it back to Madley for $1,300: $200 cash and a note. Madley sold the mill to R. E. Watson and Guy Lipscomb on April 19, 1898, for $1300 to be paid in twelve installments.
