Historicial Development: J & W Lumber, with J. C. Johnson and N. W. Walker, had a contract with P J Krohn, which the latter was unable to fulfill. B. C. Denison bought the contract, to include: all pine timber on 1140 acres of the S F Bryan survey, a sawmill with saws, various sawmill machinery, two motors, two trucks and trailors, a tractor, and seven horses and mules. B. C. Denison sold the mill and its equipment for $10 to Madie Denison in 1948. O. C. Hennessy, Jr. had bought this mill from O. C. Hennessy, Sr. in Hardin County and moved it to Montgomery County.
