Historicial Development: C. Hinsman mortgaged in May, 1907, for $300 an engine, a boiler, a sawmill frame and a saw. C. Hinsman mortgaged in August, 1907, to W. Connally Co. for $150 an 8-saw 36-inch edger. The lien was canceled June 26, 1908. C. Hinsman mortgaged in November, 1908, to Reeves & Co for $1540 an engine, a boiler, and a sawmill. C. Hinsman mortgaged in November, 1908, to A B Palmore & Co. for $212 a sawmill carriage. Hinsman reappears in the county records in 1912. He mortgaged on February 12, 1912, to Berryman & Walters for $205 “1 planer complete, all lumber on yard, 2 mules.”
