Historicial Development: Twin City Lumber & Shingle Company was listed in a trade publication at Texarkana in 1926 in the Industrial Survey of Texarkana, Ark.-Tex., and Bowie and Miller Counties and in the Southern Lumberman's Directory of American Saw Mills and Planing Mills. It was producing pine products and shingles. It was also listed in the 1957 edition of the Directory of Wood-Using and Related Industries in East Texas. It is not known if the Twin City Lumber Company, organized about 1904, was the predecessor to this outfit.
