History: Miller-Vidor Logging Camp had logging trams running into its camp at Vidor and had a skidway on the east bank of the Neches River. Employing 175 men, the camp could send daily 600,000 feet daily to its mills, either floating logs down the Neches or over the Southern Pacific. Company commissary and housing were provided for the men, which number almost 175. About 1920, the camp was shifted to either the Lakeview of Wiess Bluff area. C. L. Hannah as manager. Logging operations were transferred to Wiess Bluff in 1920.
